Dua-e-Qunoot

Allah Humma Inna Nasta-Eenoka Wa Nastaghfiruka Wa Nu’minu Bika Wa Natawakkalu Alaika Wa Nusni Alaikal Khair, Wa Nashkuruka Wala Nakfuruka Wa Nakhla-Oo Wa Natruku Mai Yafjuruka, Allah Humma Iyyaka Na’budu Wa Laka Nusalli Wa Nasjud; Wa Ilaika Nas Aaa Wa Nahfizu Wa Narju Rahma Taka Wa Nakhshaa Azaabaka; Inna Azaabaka Bil Kuffari Mulhik.
O, Allah! We beg you for help and beg clemency of you and trust in you and rely on you and praise You and we are grateful to you and are not thankless to you and we distance and leave those who refuse to obey you.

O, Allah! You alone do we adoration and for you do we pray and flat and we betake to satisfy you and extant ourselves for the amenity in your reason and we hope for your compassion and terror your punishment. Undeniably, your annoyance is going to overhaul infidels’ O Allah!

Prayer (Namaz) is the first pillar of Islam. For all Muslims, it is compulsory to learn Namaz and offer prayer five times a day. There are 5 Salaah that are Fajr, Dhuhur, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.

Namaz is an excellent way through which we can connect with ALLAH. No doubt every prayer or Namaz is similarly important in Islam. Fajr and Isha are difficult to offer than other prayers due to their timing. But offering this salaah can vigorous you between others. In Isha, there are many vital prayers Dua-e-Qunoot is one of them.

MEANING OF DUA E QUNOOT

Qunoot Dua is just like a type of request prayer. In Dua e Qunoot, Qunoot’s word means “being respectful”, or we can describe it as it is “the act of standup “. Dua is the Arabic word that offers for the petition. It has many semantic significances such as compliance, humility, and dedication. Dua Kunut is a special dua which read during Isha prayer. Dua e Qunoot is a whole package of appealing in obverse of Allah Almighty. So, by reading this, you can attain a lot of rewards from Allah.

Abu Dawood and Muhammad ibn ‘Isa At-Tirmidhi, noted that Hasan Ibn Ali read and learn this prayer from Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Dawood added that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) start reading this dua when on earth Muslims were in tragedy or major trouble.

Ibn Ali said that “Holy Prophet (PBUH) trained me for this dua and insist me to recite it in Witr prayer.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) read Qunoot Dua during Witr, Fajr prayer.

It is Our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Sunnah that many Muslims do not practice today. We should read it on daily basis in prayer.

There’s no problem in reading Dua in prayer once seeing but you should memorize Due e Qanoot, to be ready to pray without seeing in prayer.

It’s sensible to pray the Dua Kunut within the prayer of Witr according to the words recited by the Prophet (peace be upon him). This is reachable Dua within the Witr prayers Almighty Allah will grant us to realize his nearness through all prayers. Ameen.
