Reading Quran-e-PakQuran, the miracle of Allah سبحانه و تعالى, the Holy Book that carries the speech of Allah سبحانه و تعالى and holds the guideline regarding every aspect of life.. This Holy book was revealed on our Prophet ﷺ by our Lord so that mankind take guidance from it for their lives. In this holy book, there are 114 Surahs and this book has been further classified into 30 chapters (Juzz). The very first surah is Surah Fatiha and the last one is Surah Naas. The biggest and longest surah is Surah Baqarah and the shortest one is Surah Kauser.

Reading of Quran is considered as one of the essential religious responsibilities of every Muslim. The first and foremost benefit of reading Quran is the fulfillment of an obligation. Thus all Muslims should read Quran everyday considering this to be a part of their religious practices. Quran reading is very beneficial for every Muslim. On the Day of Judgment, Quran will intercede for the Muslims when every little good deed will be needed to save oneself from the hell. The practice of reading Quran can save us from the fire of hell because recitation of Quran on regular basis helps its readers enjoy heavenly bliss of angels. This is also considered to be a certain way to avail celestial bliss and to secure the way to be in heaven after the mortal life span gets over. Similarly the virtue to recite Quran will help every Muslim to get special privilege on the Judgment Day.

In this modern life, we have ignored the teachings of Quran and now the time has come to follow the recommended path that leads to forgiveness and mercy. Quran is a book with full of advices and guidelines. Quran is rich with information on all subjects and is equally beneficial to us in this world and hereafter, The Holy Quran guides us regarding every aspect of our life so that we can spend our life in the best possible manner. Every sincere Muslim who wants to earn Allah’s سبحانه و تعالى love should recite and ponder over the meaning of the verses of Quran and then hold tight to the meanings explained by our Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

Recitation of Quran on regular basis raises the status of a person’s life because of the countless blessings of Allah سبحانه و تعالى and in this regard, there is a very beautiful Hadees.

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ stated that “Verily Allah سبحانه و تعالى raises some people by this book and lowers others by it.”

There is another Hadees described in Tirmizi which states that ten rewards are granted for reciting one letter from Quran. The daily Quran reading will help us to gain these countless rewards from Allah سبحانه و تعالى. Whoever Muslim memorizes the most of the Ayah will achieve the higher position in Paradise. The more a Muslim will be proficient in memorizing Quran, the more it will be easier for him to secure his place in heaven nearer to Allah سبحانه و تعالى.

The Messenger ﷺ of Allah سبحانه و تعالى said “The best of you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it.” (reported in Bukhari Shareef)

On one occasion the Messenger ﷺ of Allah سبحانه و تعالى said: “The Quran is an intercessor, something given permission to intercede, and it is rightfully believed in. Whoever puts it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise; whoever puts it behind him, it will steer him to the Hellfire.” (Al Tabrani)

Dear Muslims, spare some of your time for reciting the Holy Quran regularly because devoting your time regularly to its study and implementation will provide you tremendous benefits in this life and hereafter. If we will devote ourselves for this Holy book of Allah سبحانه و تعالى, we will be provided with the obedient and commendable angels as companions. Reciting Quran is one of the simplest ways to get heavenly bliss in your mortal life because reading of Quran will make sure the attainment of heaven after our demise. Being Muslims we cannot put forward any kind of excuse for it. Allah سبحانه و تعالى has provided us with a clear pathway to the heaven in the shape of Quran. We should embrace, read and learn it whole heartedly.
